The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to begin their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that control the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
